Privacy Policy
For Temple and the other apps published by N8torious AI (n8toriousai.com). Last updated: November 1, 2026.
The short version
These apps do not collect your data. No accounts. No analytics. No advertising. No trackers. No data sold, shared, or sent to us — there is no server for it to be sent to. What you do in the app stays in the app, on your device.
Temple
What Temple stores — on your device only
Temple keeps a few small things in its own private storage on your phone, so the app can remember where you left off:
- Your reading place, and which chapters you have opened
- Verses you highlight, favorite, or write notes on
- Names you add to your prayer list, and the days you prayed
- Your reading-plan progress and widget order
- Your most recent weather reading (see below)
None of this ever leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. We could not read it if we wanted to — it is never transmitted anywhere.
The one exception: the weather card
Temple includes an optional weather card. It does nothing until you tap it. When you tap it, your device asks for your location, and — only with your permission — your approximate coordinates are sent to two weather services so the card can answer:
- Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), which returns the forecast. See the Open-Meteo terms and privacy notes.
- BigDataCloud (bigdatacloud.com), which turns coordinates into a place name. See the BigDataCloud privacy policy.
The reading is cached on your device with its time so the card can show it later. It is not sent to us, not logged by us, and not used for anything else. If you never tap the weather card, Temple never uses the internet at all. The whole Bible — all 66 books — is inside the app and works fully offline.
Sharing
Temple lets you turn a favorite verse into a picture card and send it. That happens only when you tap the snapshot button and choose where it goes, through your device's standard share sheet. The app sends nothing on its own.
Permissions
- Location — used only by the weather card, only when you tap it, and only after you grant it.
- Internet — used only by the weather card.
Nothing else. Temple asks for no access to your contacts, photos, files, camera, or microphone.
Children
These apps collect no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of an app ever changes these practices, this page will be updated first, with the date above changed to match. Any version that collects data — none is planned — would say so here plainly before release.
